Calling Sherborn high school students!

The Sherborn Lions Club is hosting the 2026–2027 Youth Speech Competition, and this year’s topic is:

“THE BOOK THAT MOST AFFECTED ME WAS…”

Choose a book that changed the way you think, see the world, or understand yourself, and turn that experience into an original 5–8 minute speech. And if public speaking makes you a little nervous, students may read their speech from a manuscript at the Club Level.

It’s a great opportunity to build confidence, share your perspective, and make your voice heard.

Prizes begin at $100 at the Club Level, with the State-Level winner receiving $1,500.
