Rental Information
The Town House may be rented as a whole or by individual room. Featuring original hardwood floors throughout and period hand-stenciling inspired by local historic homes, the building offers a timeless setting for every occasion. There are three main rooms available for rent.
The Great Hall
Located on the second floor, the Great Hall is a ballroom-style space with soaring 20-foot ceilings and large windows that flood the room with natural light. An open stage at one end provides the perfect spot for a wedding party, special guests, or live entertainment. Seats 130-150 guests banquet-style with room for a dance floor. Accommodates up to 225 guests in a theater-style setup with rows of chairs.
The original embossed tin walls in a soft champagne color create an elegant, neutral backdrop for any theme. A vintage reproduction chandelier, modeled after an original from a local church, anchors the center of the room. Guests arrive via a grand staircase with a curved banister leading to gracious foyers on both floors, with an elevator available for access to the second floor.
The School Room
This more intimate first-floor room features 16-foot ceilings painted in neutral hues. It comfortably seats 65-75 guests in a banquet-style arrangement and has space for a dance floor.
The rental of the School Room includes access to the adjacent Sherborn Room (formerly the Conference Room), which can be used as a private space for hosts, a wedding party, a guest of honor, or as an additional area for buffet and cocktail service. It's perfect for cocktail receptions, medium-sized dinner parties, or bar/bat mitzvah celebrations.
The Sherborn Room
Formerly known as the Conference Room, this charming first-floor space is ideal for meetings, classes, or small gatherings of up to 20 people. Restored in the Victorian style, it features hand-stenciled walls inspired by 19th-century local homes.
Included in Every Event Rental
All rentals of the Town House — whether the entire building or just a single room — include tables, chairs, and a staff host (if paid for) for the duration of your event. Our inventory offers standing cocktail tables, round tables, and rectangular tables, allowing flexible layouts to match your event design. Decorating and supply drop-off can be arranged up to three days before your event, depending on availability.
